FOUNDATION
Who We Are
We are a research-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the environment and advancing public health through research, education, advocacy, and community-directed action. We believe that the health of people and the health of the planet are deeply interconnected, hence, sustainable solutions must address both environmental protection and human well-being simultaneously. Our organization was founded on the understanding that many of today’s most pressing public health challenges are rooted in environmental degradation. Air and water pollution, climate change, habitat destruction, and toxic exposure not only threaten ecosystems but also directly impact communities, livelihoods, and quality of life. Through health impact assessments and collaborative partnerships, we work to create lasting solutions that foster healthier environments and healthier populations.
Our Mission
To safeguard the environment and promote public health through a multifaceted approach that integrates scientific research and data, community engagement, policy advocacy, and education. We are committed to addressing critical environmental challenges such as air and water pollution, climate change, habitat destruction, and toxic exposure, recognizing their profound and inseparable connection to human health.
Our vision
To help create a world where environmental sustainability and public health intertwine harmoniously, which will aid the achievement of sustainable cities and communities. We envision a future where every individual has access to clean air, safe water, and nutritious food; where biodiversity flourishes; and where the well-being of humanity is intrinsically linked to the health of the natural world.
We uphold the highest ethical and professional standards to ensure credible, transparent, and evidence-based research.
We promote long-term environmental and public health solutions that meet present needs without compromising future generations.
We equip communities with knowledge, skills, and resources to actively address environmental and health challenges.
We maintain standard operating procedures, accountability, and honesty in our operations, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
We foster partnerships and collective action to achieve greater impact in environmental protection and public health.
